Cabot Rings

Cabot rings consist of nuclear remnants or part of the mitotic spindle. Their presence is indicative of dyserythropoeisis. Thus, it may be seen in megaloblastic anemia, lead poisoning, and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
