Cleaved Lymphocytes

Cleaved lymphocytes, also known as butt cells, are seen in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), pertussis (whooping cough), or lymphoma.

Appearance

The nucleus of the lymphocyte is indented or cleaved.
